From receiving our clients request to consider a project, Dudleys considers constraints and develops feasibility proposals for Client and Team review.

Value Engineering

Dudleys will consider a number of scheme options for Client and Team review to allow the scheme to achieve its objective in a cost effective manner.

Drainage & Sewage Design

We can provide drainage design and hydraulic reports using Micro Drainage software to Building Regulations Part H and / or Sewers for Adoption.

Infrastructure Assessment

We consult with the Statutory Authorities to determine the constraints and requirements placed upon our Clients’ developments.

Civils & Highway Design

Dudleys develop schemes from concept to highways Section 38, and 278, and Section 104, 106, and 185 drainage agreements with details for Contractors.

MMC (Modern Methods of Construction)

We are committed to consideration and implementation of new construction techniques as appropriate and have worked closely with a number of contractors to deliver schemes which incorporate modern methods of construction.

Flood Risk Assessment

We produce planning reports to Flood Zones with advice on how to enable developments to progress with consideration to the site constraints.

Structural Engineering Design

We can produce structural designs in all of the main building materials from simple element design through to whole scheme modelling and detailing.

Site Investigation

We work closely in conjunction with a number of Geoenvironmental Engineering companies to investigate ground conditions. We’re knowledgeable and pro-active enough to ensure a commercial and appropriate solution is obtained.

Foundation Engineering

From simple mass concrete strip footings to fully detailed secant pile below ground tanks, we have a broad range of foundation experience.

Refurbishment

Practical and experienced advice in relation to bringing the building structure of old buildings back into use for modern purposes.

BIM (Building Information Modelling)

Dudleys have both company and individual accreditations to provide demonstrable competence in this field. We utilise a variety of compatible software packages, such as Revit and Civils 3D which allow for creation of data rich models and model sharing across the wider design team.

Embodied Carbon Assessment

We take our responsibility for sustainability seriously and the impact as engineers we can make to reducing carbon emissions during construction works. This can include due consideration of re-use of existing structures to be adapted or extended, in addition to consideration of a number of materials and construction types to provide the most appropriate solution.
