Fuel Sector

Dudleys have been involved in the fuel sector for many years providing Engineering advice to over 300 petrol filling station (pfs) developments. Our clients comprise both fuel retailers and supermarket developers.

Services are provided for “standard” footprint developments to be used anywhere in the country through to a bespoke redevelopment specific to one site.

The project size, scope and engineering needs vary greatly for each project but generally comprise assessment of existing buildings and site constraints to adapt these to suit the proposed site. This requires full building structure design, external works design, coordination with the project team and statutory authorities, .

Key structural engineering skills include:

-  Standard/bespoke shop building design and detailing

-  Ancillary building design and detailing

-  Tank farm design and detailing towards temporary works

-  Site boundary constraints design eg retaining walls

-  Ground condition assessment for foundation design

-  External works design

-  Drainage design to SuDS standards.
